Information About Moving Out
Your written 30 days notice to move out of your rental home must be sent to us by mail, dropped off at our office, or by our preferred method, through your portal. We do not accept move out notices by voice, email or fax. Please provide us with the date you will move out and your forwarding address. If you do not provide us with your forwarding address at the time of notice, we will mail your security deposit to your address on file.
Southern Colorado Realty will
email you a confirmation of your notice to vacate. If you have not received our confirmation of receipt of your notice within 3 business days, please
contact the office to verify that we have received your notice.
Notice to Vacate
Upon vacating, be sure to drop keys off at the office drop box in an envelope with your name and full address. We will not consider you vacated until the keys are returned. Do not leave them in your rented space. We will notify you in writing no more than 60 days after receiving the keys to your unit of the charges against your deposit, if any. Refund checks will be mailed in the names of ALL tenants on the agreement.
Please take the following steps when vacating your rental space:
Thoroughly clean apartment including appliances, cabinets and bathrooms
Remove any nails or picture hangers from wallsOur support team is here to ensure things runs smoothly, so you can get on with other things.
You will be charged if any personal items are left behind. Please remove all furniture and belongings.
Please refer to your lease for detailed move out instructions.
